Welcome to the InsideRide guide to the Mt. Ventoux (from Bedoin) augmented route on Rouvy. Please read on to see details and photographs on the route, route profiles, and our own ride data on this route.

The Mt. Ventoux (from Bedoin) route on Rouvy unsurprisingly climbs up to Mont Ventoux from Bedoin. This is one of the seminal climbs on the Tour de France, where Chris Froome stamped his authority on the 2013 edition of le tour.

The route consists of two main phases. After a brief ride in, the route climbs steeply through the forest until the cafe is reached at 11km. After the cafe the route eases only slightly, before the climb intensifies again as the finish nears.

The first half of the climb is dominated by trees. After the coffee stop at 11km the remainder of the route is dominated by the scree lining the hillside.

Again, and it probably will not outlive the ŠKODA - We Love Cycling Challenge on Rouvy, but on this Course a whole platoon of amazing, sparkly, silver Skodas have been parked up alongside the checkpoint at the cafe.

Being a Rouvy Augmented Route the video quality is excellent throughout. The weather is good, even the mist enveloping the finish adds an authentic aura. Have to be honest - the first 11km of trees were dull, but the route after the cafe made the ride much more enjoyable!
