Welcome to the InsideRide guide to the "Tour de Suisse | 6 | FIESCH – DISENTIS-SEDRUN | Pt 3" AR route on Rouvy. Please read on to see details and photographs on the route, route profiles, and our own ride data on this route.

This route is the third of three that were to comprise stage 6 of the ill-fated 2020 Tour de Suisse. Not to happen in the real world, and to be ridden out in garages around the world on Rouvy instead. This ride begins a little before where the second ride terminated, in the hills above Olivone.

Views to mountains dominate this ride, though they are largely lower than the earlier rides in this stage, with less ice and snow.

The route starts off climbing alongside the Brenno del Lucomagno, with much of the climb on this route falling in the first third of the ride. The climb is dominated by views of the surrounding hills, especially the conical Pizzo dell'Uomo and the plateau of Piz Rondadura.

After the climb the route drops towards Curaglia, now with the Piz Ault dominating the skyline at the head of the valley, before dropping in to the town of Disentis.

Views to Vanatsch follow on the climb out of Disentis, and the route concludes climbing in to Sedrun, below the ridge between Piz Giuv and Piz Pali.

Like all Rouvy augmented routes, this route is beautifully filmed. The picture is stable with resolution available to 1080p. Similar to other routes it also suffers a little from filming speed exceeding ride speed, though rarely is this noticeable.

Like most Switzerland rides the combination of tall sjagged alpine peaks, lush green meadows, and steep walls make for stupendously sublime scenery. Blue skies throughout only add to the quality of this ride, and only in places does the picture become a little bleached by the sun.

This route serves as a tough conclusion to the 6th Tour de Suisse stage of 2020, that never was.
