Route Description
The ToB 2018 Stage 8 London courses by Peter Kettle on Fulgaz are a series of closed road circuits through central London with Marble Arch and Trafalgar Square at its heart.
The circuit starts at Piccadilly Circus, heading North along Regent Street before turning 180°, heading back through Piccadilly Circus, and along Haymarket to Trafalgar Square. Next the route heads east along the Strand, past Charing Cross, before again turning through 180° to return to Trafalgar Square. The last part of the loop heads South along Whitehall, turning back through 180° a little after Downing Street, back to Trafalgar Square, and beyond to the start at Piccadilly Circus.
The scenery along the ride is dominated by the architecture of the area, especially Nelson's Column at Trafalgar Square, and Marble Arch. Also watch out for the race paraphernalia - not least the kamikaze pedestrians at the various crossing points.
This ride can be ridden in single lap, 4 lap and 6 lap configurations in Fulgaz - or for more freedom, simply ride in loop mode.
The video is recorded in 4K resolution with stabilised and perfectly synchronised picture, with a slight join noticeable in the stitching of the video at the end of each lap.
We hope that you enjoy the ride - let us know what you think in the comments box below.
