Route Description
The A Cruise Along the Yarra River course by Phil Harrison on Fulgaz is a ride downstream along the Yarra River through. Melbourne. The route is short and flat, taking a little under Half an hour to ride.
The scenery ride side is dominated by the views downriver to the skyscrapers of Melbourne downtown, framed by the setting sun on a bright evening. The trail is busy, and there are a few occasions where pedestrians on trail will have you reaching for the brake lever! The scenery is a little constricted in the first half of the ride, opening up and improving greatly after half-way.
The video is recorded in 4K resolution with stabilised and perfectly synchronised picture. There is some automatic color adjustment that is a little distracting, again, in the first half of the ride, this improves as the ride goes on.
