Route Description
The Citadelle de Lille course by ldesmons on Kinomap is a pleasant circuit around the pentagonal citadel designed and built by Field Marshal Vauban in the late 17th century, and still in service today as the headquarters of the Corps de réaction rapide France. The ride hugs the moat to the citadel for the duration, with the red brick walls of the citadel beyond. The route is clearly a popular walking and riding trail, with others on the route throughout.
The video is recorded by Kinomap contributor ldesmons in standard definition with stabilised picture. The filming quality is good throughout, though outstrips the gpx - resulting in 200m treading on the spot in the car park at the end!
We hope that you enjoy the run - let us know what you think in the comments box below.
