Route Description

The Lauwers Lake course by Sander Van Der Wal on Fulgaz is a flat, easy ride around roughly half of the circumference of Lauwers Lake near Groningen in the Netherlands.

The scenery is dominated throughout by extensive views across the flat terrain, interspersed with the occasional windmill. For a ride around a lake, there is surprisingly few and fleeting glances of the water itself.

The video is recorded in 4K resolution with stabilised and perfectly synchronised picture, recorded at a sensible speed that suffers from non of the comedic movements of characters in the video when the ride speed is significantly different o filming speed.

I was longing for a little more lake - a complete circuit taking in the Bantswei crossing, if possible, would have been ideal.
