Route Description
The Bicycle Road Race Course ? Subashiri over Kagosaka Pass from Yamanaka Lakeside (Tokyo Games 2020) course on Kinomap is a rolling ride around Lake Yamanaka, followed by the climb over Kagosaka Pass, and concluding with the long descent into Subashiri.
This course is reported to form part of the road race course at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (in 2021). If so then the peloton is in for a treat, this ride being interspersed between fantastic views across the lake, interspersed by views to the conical Mount Fuji.
The video is recorded by Kinomap contributor Subashire in full high definition (not sure what Kinomap's FHD means - 2K?). The filming is perfect, and the road looks great, deserving of the "Excellent" quality rating awarded to it by Kinomap. Sadly there is some mis-timing throughout, though worse at the beginning, and more noticeable as our ride was a slow recovery ride..
Hope you enjoy the ride - let us know what you think in the comments below.
