Welcome to the InsideRRR preview of the Greenhill Road to Uraidla presented by Chasing Cancellara course on Fulgaz by Mike Clucas. Please read on to see my thoughts on the route, course profile and images, and my own ride data.

Route Description

The Greenhill Road to Uraidla course by Mike Clucas on Fulgaz starts off from the outskirts of Adelaide, and begins with a relentless climb up the longest continuous incline in the area right from the off through the Adelaide Hills. Afterwards the ride drops into Uraidla - from where the route follows a rolling loop interspersed with some very steep climbs - before ending on arrival back in Uraidla.

This ride featured as the first stage in the Santos Tour Down Under event in July/August 2021.

The scenery is dominated by green fields and trees, and blue skies, interspersed occasionally with race furniture from the Chasing Cancellara event. The view never really opens up much on this ride.

The video is recorded in stabilised 4K resolution, recorded at a sensible speed to avoid comedic motions in shot. I struggled to keep up with the original filming speed, though am beginning to find real gains against myself on climbs, courtesy of the switch to the Wattbike Atom.
