First game back at Turf Moor in over a fortnight due to the reconstruction works at Kenilworth Road.

I got the the Fanzone a little later than I’d have liked, and due to the queues opted to just grab a pie and a mug of bovril from the concourse - which was actually ace.

First half was really tough. We generated little from positions out wide, which would culminate in Manuel Benson’s replacement at half time, and were especially vulnerable at right back. Very quickly behind, we entered half time 0-2.

The second half was much stronger, a goal from Foster at the beginning of the half, and a few near misses in a spell where Burnley looked more likely to equalise. The third ball came from another counter direct through the centre - the type of attack Burnley will need to deal with better as the season goes on.

Next up Nottingham Forest away in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
