⚽️ Sadly I cannot make Burnley v Sheffield Utd this afternoon as Vickie is away, so I’ll be chewing my fingernails at home instead. As I’ve handed my Wolves ticket back to keep workload sensible, my next game is Brighton away next weekend.

Birmingham New Street has changed quite a bit. It feels like a lifetime ago that a grew up near here.
🎮 Renewed my Crossover license for £18 in the Black Friday sale.
I think a new license is same price as a renewal till midnight, and it’s a steal at that price.
I have started using Notion for daily note taking, replacing Obsidian.
I love Odsidian, but for changes in work environment, I would not have been looking for another tool. I’m impressed with Notion so far, it can more than fully replicate my Obsidian setup as I learn functionality.

We’ve switched electricty plans to one with an overnight tariff (~29%) 12am through 7am.
Hadn’t really appreciated how much electricity charging an EV uses v the house. If we organise ourselves properly, even working from home, I think we can transfer most of our electricty use onto that rate.

Back on my Wattbike after several weeks away with work Stress and then a gastric issue.
A gentle ride on the Coastal Loop Reverse route on Indie Velo, with a dull pain to lower-right abdomen constant throughout - not out of the woods yet.
Notably the pie had the first structural failure of the season, and a fork was needed. I’m blaming that on the pointless herb inclusions in the pretentious pastry. I’d pass.
Apparently I was quite grumpy on the way home last night!
⚽️📻 Discovered the From the Beehole End podcast, which I’ve been listening to all the way South.
Think this is probably my favourite BurnleyFC podcast. Good structured discussion, without unnecessary polish.

Stumbled across this fascinating data from Severn Trent, which is published weekly and shows the water capacity and fill of each of their reservoir groups. Shows that water levels have recovered well from some very critical levels last year.
