Tuesday 17th May 2005
The forecast looked awful for the remainder of the week, although I maintain that conditions were easily climbable on each of the days we were in Scotland. During the course of the day the vast majority of snow on the hills disappeared, and we should have been climbing at this point. On the Tuesday we walked up the coast to complete a walk around the Gruinard Valley, and then we walked back. The total distance covered for the day being approximately 24 miles.
