I don’t need to say too much about today, I think that the pictures say so much more than any words I write ever could. A descriptive of the route taken can be found on this page from my visit last year. The only noticeable difference was that this year we did not omit to walk up Fan y Big by mistake!!!!!
I also wanted to make sure this time that Bwlch y Ddwyallt was sumitted. In fact I think that it was sumitted last year. There is a cairn on the path that we did not notice last year but must have walked over, as you could not really fail to do so. There are some peat hags about 50 m from here, but I felt that they were lower. In any case I stood on each and every one of them just to make sure!
I have taken an alternative approach to this page, and have opted to retain the best images at full quality, because the photographs justify the additional bandwith, so please accept my apologies in advance if you do not have broadband.
The only major down side to the day was being forced to listen to a rendition of ‘Bread of Heaven’ in the Tai’r Bull. Guys, Seriously, I would not expect to be inflicted to a rendition of ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ on entering my local. In any event a chorus of ‘Swing Low Sweet Chariot’ soon emptied the lounge!!!!
