A good day out with John, Paul, Chris and Ian. We opted to head out west for Beinn Teallach, and possibly to complete the horseshoe including Beinn a’ Chaorainn. As it turned out we headed straight up Beinn Teallach, and returned the same way. The weather forecast had been horrendous, and our group was the only one to attempt 3000ft. We returned to the car to a chorus of “youl never stand at 3000 ft on a day like this!” and “you’ll never get a cloud free view from a 3000 ft Mountain on a day like this. Despite protestations later, we never did quite manage to obtain the finest bagels in all the land. The most interesting point of the day was Paul vomiting Talisker everywhere and having to retire early with John, it made a nice change for it not to be me!
