Parking at Aberarder, the day looked initially so promising, but turned sour. The cliffs on Creag Meagaidh are fantastic, had I taken my technical axes I would have attempted one of two gullies, and next time I go to Meagaidh I will be going to climb. We kcked steps up to the top of the window, reaching within half a kilometer and 200m climb of our target, but with very high winds and hail decided to turn around. We had a practice of ice axe breaking on the way back down, but 15km was a bloody long way to walk just for that! However, to be fair the view of the cliffs made the walk in worthwhile and left me feeling inspired.
