Had a really good day out today, despite the recent injury setbacks i’m now confident that my excuse for a knee is on the mend. Opted not to go climbing on Tryfan due to the physio’s advice, but I deliberately didn’t ask if I could go walking!
Much of the route is discussed the page linked below, the only noticeable difference being the descent into Aber via Llwytmor and Aber Falls as opposed to via Drum.
I felt that we were quite lucky with the weather, having a view all day long. Towards the end of the day the wind really picked up, being as strong as anything I have experienced in winter Scotland, if not perhaps a little stronger!
I opted to assist Mike with the led walk as opposed to attempting any of the longer variants, I didn’t feel any more than an occasional twinge in the knee all day long. I don’t anticipate going out again until early november.
