The first quarter has been a pretty tough one, and while I have been able to get some training in through the winter the depth and consistency has been absent, and the quality heading backwards.
A couple of attempts to put together a decent run on the Leeds Liverpool canal, both failing to run for any great distance due to a combination of my cv fitness not being in the right place, and perhaps more pertinently, my asthma.
Just 6 months ago I ran my fastest 10km in training in a number of years, and this is now probably my lowest point in the last decade.
If there is a positive to take from todays run, then I was in more of a position to run at the end of the loop than a fortnight prior – though offset by finding the beginning much tougher.
Things to fix:
- Work / Life Balance
- Training Routine
- Taking Asthma medication properly!
