The Lake Pukaki route on Rouvy is a deperlo / Graham Love creation, if you have ridden any of the Rouvy filmed New Zealand Augmented Reality routes, they will likely have been filmed by Graham, and that comes through in this ride.

The route tracks the lake for the majority of the ride, with deep blue water, even deeper blue skies, all contrasting against a sun dried landscape. Largely flat, the route climbs up and away from the lake, before dropping back to the lake and riding into the sun - looking back to the beginning of the ride.

Though the Lake Pukaki route is not an AR route - I've set myself up a large playlist of routes created on Rouvy by the best route creators to explore on here, it does feel like you are riding an AR ride less the graphics. Filmed from a vehicle (I believe most of deperlao's rides probably are), the quality of the scenery and absence of traffic renders the filming speed unimportant.
