Cocker spaniel puppy lay against a curtain, looking guilty.

Ruairidh, the little monster, thinks jumping in the water bowl and scooping the water out backwards is acceptable behaviour. On a conference call. Four times. Crazy Spaniel.

Picture of a gas barbecue, surrounded by freshly mowed grass and chicken coups, under a blue sky.

Rounded out the weekend mowing the lawn and BBQing in the garden. Its rained here once in about 6 weeks, which makes little sense given the usual amount of rain we receive.

Screenshot of an imagepost appearing in the micro.blog timeline, with a picture of a podenco featured below a description of the post.

Achievement of the weekend was refining my rss feed to show micro posts as titleless posts in the micro. blog timeline. Had it working last night, but fully rebuilt it today as I broke something with my final tweaks last night.

Podenco Ibicenco sat with paws overhanging the edge of the sofa, and ears raised partially, but not at full alert

BayLee "the favourite" is daily dog today. His weight and conditioning have improved as we have resolved his underactive thyroid, he now raises his ears most of the time again - but he looks older for it. I don't have favourites, but if I did...

Mr Leo accepting that the wee haggis Ruairidh is going to sit on him, impressive given Leo's predominantly solitary philosophy on space.

Me, stood in front of the Royal Bl@ckburn Hospital entry banner, in a branded claret Burnley soft shell and turquoise Burnley training top.

Started off my day with a CT scan, which I had to step into Bl@ckburn for. Made sure to dress appropriately.

πŸͺ΄An hour at the allotment turned into 2 when I realised the bed I wanted to put my fruit bushes into was already full of, erm, fruit bushes. Potted on rather than waste - Princess Caoimhe on sentry on the potatoes throughout.

Turf Moor before kick off against Millwall, view to Jimmy Mcilroy Stand

At Turf Moor this afternoon for the game with Millwall. An opportunity to avenge one of just two defeats this season and, others reliant, secure the championship title. Again.

I headed down to Fulham today for a work meeting, taking in Putney Bridge Underground Station on the District Line, the River Cafe outside was excellent. I'll be back down a few miles away tomorrow at Loftus Road.

Screenshot of my website showing a test comment from bluesky land on my last micropost, a test comment from Mastodon sits below the fold and outwith this image.

After spending the evening rebuilding microformats, as hoped, comments are now landing on the target article, and not my homepage. The indiewebify.me validators made this so much easier than the documentation.

As knee deep in code today, I also took the opportunity to upgrade the run/ride metadata on my site so that is more prominent and iconised, similar to my RSS and echofeed streams.

Old black pointer walks with me dressed in claret shoes, jeans, and a grey jacket, with a caravan covered in algae beyond

Really like this photo of me and Moo. I'd just turned back from my trip to Watford as he was ill, so picked him up and took him for a walk.

Watched the first three episodes of Toxic Town on Netflix. Harrowing anyway, more so with a decent working knowledge of occupational hygiene.

A picture looking across our allotment from one corner with a wide vision lens. There are two sheds with a substantial verandah to the rear, a greenhouse to the right, and four substantial beds for growing across the plot.

In other exciting news from the weekend, we picked up the keys to our allotment after 7 years on the waiting list - we fell very lucky with the condition of the plot. Now I need to build a whole new section in my digital garden about our actual garden!

This section teaches use of f-strings in Python to produce easily customisable variable driven output. Also end="" to prevent print statements terminating to new line - I've never used this.
