I really like the new calendar in Route's rider portal... if only it broadcast externally via iCal. It makes event invitations much easier to view / accept.

I've still not got around to writing a blogpost on Rouvy's UX upgrades in April, but absolutely love on screen gear indicator for Wattbike that appeared for the first time on my ride tonight.

It will take some pre-work, but loading rides into library and playlists will be a more efficient mode of ride and row selection in Kinomap.
This is Important given the vast quantity and quality of content on the platform. Select the bookmark icon from the "browse" section in the app.

The logical way forward following the FulGaz divestment is to try to make the most out of my Kinomap lifetime membership for scenic rides (everything but racing), building ride playlists to bypass the poor ride search UX.
Many of the best ride creators also have their content on Rouvy, but the additional subscription probably does not make sense. Discoverability of non-AR videos is little better on Rouvy also - I have a large favourites playlist there also for the same reason.

Currently stuck somewhere between knowing that training is great for my mental health, and lacking motivation to train because my resilience has taken a hit. Hoping to reset that over the next week.

I liked Rouvy, but I liked Fulgaz more, so was very upset to see that Ironman has sold Fulgaz to be eaten by Rouvy today.
I've had nothing to do with Wahoo since they spat out RGT, and it is inconceivable right now that I will renew my Rouvy subscription. While I'd still like to race long distance triathlon - it definitely will not be at an iron dot badged event either.
If only Kinomap could sort out their UX - given that I have a lifetime subscription there.

At 44km and 1500m of ascent the Zwift World Series Race is going to take me around 2h30. As I'm heading to Reading on Saturday, and practicing TTT on Sunday, 18:30 tonight is my best chance. Back later!

I've not noticed challenge leaderboards surfaced inside the Fulgaz app previously - nice addition. I'm exploring Fulgaz as a scenic option while I cannot ride/race with any intensity currently.

Taking an enforced break from training, a nasty dose of infected bursitis causing a short trip to the super urgent care team at Burnley hospital on Wednesday. Absolutely no idea what caused it, but at least a week hiatus.... π΄ββοΈπββοΈπ§ββοΈ

π΄ββοΈ Really sad to see demise of RGT, discord has not stopped buzzing. Though it never had a critical mass of users and event choices, it had by far the best ride feel in the market. Hopefully the community will re-emerge on indieVelo or even bKool.

Got off the bike tonight to realise that August was 12 minutes shorter than my second biggest training month everβ¦. So I got back on for another 20 minutes!

Popped onto MyWhoosh this evening to test the new update. More on that another time. Found this awesome kit in the garage though - much like our 21β22 first team kit.

I liked indieVelo so much, that I was back online this morning for the V02 Max Three Threes erg workout. 3 x 3 minute intervals at VO2 Max. The erg control worked great, more in a later post.

After 2 years, super excited that the vibrating Rouvy video vibrates no more. The picture looks super clear and stable on iOS, still need to test MacOS.

Not sure how βScotlandβ the new Scotland world in Zwift is. Hogwarts meets the north of Ireland with Nessie and bagpipes. Still better than riding in any other Zwift world thoughβ¦

Heroica 9 race on @rgtcycling - on the Dirty Reiver course at Kielder.
This was about as high as I climbed through the field, but starting to feel some progress averaging FTP over the event.

First time running @fulgazapp in 4K through Apple TV. HLS did not stream well, and my HRM dropped out early doors, but the riding experience in 4K download was out of this world.
Must get round to finishing the decorating @craftedbypandaβ¦.

Not a recommended way of aligning frames to correct bikefit, when you are not the designated gamer in the house.

I've become increasingly good at getting training volume in over the last few years, without getting the results that I wanted out of that in terms of competitiveness and weight.

Given that I donβt smoke, drink, consume caffeine and already spend around 10h a week on a bicycleβ¦ am a bit stumped. Maybe I need to uplift my bicycle prescription furtherβ¦.
