It’s the first home game of the season here at Turf Moor as we take on Cardiff City. First game since the departures of Odobert and Twine, and the omission of James Trafford from the team is the main surprise - presumably on his way out.

If Vincent Kompany is going to leave this summer, to wherever that may be, I hope that he goes quickly so that we can move on from what has been a pretty dreadful season. I don’t see any of the (3x!) rumours being debunked, so I’m sceptical he leads us into next season.
